About the role
For the Business development manager you can either focus on our fullfilment segment or our Retail & E-commerce. Both profiles are explained below. 

As a Business Development Manager focused on Fulfilment Providers, you will win and manage partnerships with warehouses, fulfilment centers, and 3PLs who need seamless shipping solutions for their operations or their clients’ ecommerce orders. You will help expand Shipcloud's reach across Europe by identifying opportunities, demonstrating our platform's value, and building long-term customer relationships.

Your mission
Your Impact (fulfilment)
  • You will help fulfilment providers optimize their shipping operations, directly improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Your work will open strategic partnerships with warehouses and 3PLs, expanding Shipcloud's network and capabilities.
  • By addressing operational challenges, you will contribute to streamlined, scalable logistics processes for ecommerce businesses.
  • You will play a key role in shaping Shipcloud's fulfilment segment strategy and sales approach.
Key Responsibilities (fulfilment):
  • Identify and engage prospective warehouse, fulfilment, and 3PL partners.
  • Build and maintain a targeted sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking.
  • Conduct consultative sales discussions to understand client operations and pain points.
  • Present Shipcloud's platform and explain technical integrations.
  • Support clients through onboarding and successful integration.
  • Negotiate contracts and build long-term, trust-based relationships with operational decision-makers.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client success and continuous improvement

Your Impact (Retail & e-commerce)
  • You will help ecommerce businesses optimize their shipping processes, directly influencing their growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Your efforts will open new markets and expand Shipcloud's customer base across Europe.
  • By engaging with ecommerce entrepreneurs, you will contribute to improving the online shopping experience for thousands of consumers.
  • You will play a key role in shaping our go-to-market approach and building scalable sales processes.
Key Responsibilities (Retail & e-commerce):
  • Identify and engage prospective ecommerce and retail clients.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking.
  • Conduct consultative sales discussions to understand client needs.
  • Present Shipcloud's platform and explain integration possibilities.
  • Support clients through onboarding and initial implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Your profile
Fulfilment segment:
  • 2-5 years of B2B sales experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, or supply chain technology.
  • Solid network within the warehousing, fulfilment, or 3PL space.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse workflows, pick & pack operations, carrier integrations, and SLAs.
  • Fluent in the language of efficiency, automation, and operational reliability.
  • Able to recognizes what fulfilment providers need.
  • Skilled at navigating complex technical discussions and long-term partnership sales cycles.
  • Proficient with pipeline management.
  • Experienced in outbound prospecting: LinkedIn, cold email, and calls.
  • Process-driven, structured, and partnership-oriented mindset.
  • Motivated by helping clients streamline operations and scale with confidence
Retail & e-commerce
  • 2-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, shipping, or logistics services.
  • Understanding of ecommerce operations and online retail business models.
  • Familiar with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, etc.).
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Comfortable demonstrating digital platforms and explaining integrations.
  • CRM and pipeline management experience.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting using LinkedIn, email, and calls.
  • Agile, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
